PRB AQUACULTURE– Probiotic Remediator Bacteria

PRB AQUACULTURE STENGTH is a powerful probiotic blend containing carefully selected bacterial strains that promote bioremediation, enhance nutrient cycling, and mitigate pathogens in aquaculture systems. Designed to address a broad range of challenges in aquatic environments, PRB supports water quality, solid waste digestion, and overall system health. It is particularly effective in RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems), hatcheries, biofloc systems, and large open bodies of water.

   • Competitive exclusion: Outcompeting harmful bacteria for space and resources.

Applications:

• RAS & Hatchery Dose Rate:
  1ml per 200L of water, providing a concentration of 50,000 CFU/ml.

• Pond Dosing:
  For large ponds, PRB can be cultured on-site for more cost-effective dosing. Follow these steps for pond-side culturing:

  Pond-Side Culturing Instructions:

  1. Use source water from the pond and sterilize or dechlorinate it.
  2. Fill a container with the sterilized water.
  3. Add 1ml of PRB per litre of culture volume.
  4. Add 5ml of OC-K nutrient per litre of culture volume.
  5. Aerate the mixture for 24-48 hours, depending on temperature (24 hours at 25°C).
  6. Dose the cultured product into the pond at 1000ml per 1,000,000L of pond water, which provides a 10,000 CFU/ml concentration.
